A sleeping baby makes a beautiful portrait. The best time to photograph your baby is the first three weeks of birth. I know this can be a stressful time for new parents, but it is the best time for the beloved sleeping portrait. I allow up to 2.5 hours for newborn sessions. This allows us to take our time to capture stunning portraits. This allows time for feeding, changing, bonding and more. You can relax as I safely photograph your baby with many cute props (you may also bring along your own favorite outfits and props). Over the years I have collected many beautiful props that reflect a style that is soft, timeless and natural. I do ask parents to bring 4-5 outfits so that we know they will fit the new baby. I do limit the number of outfit changes to 5. Changing your newborn causes them to become unsettled, which takes longer for your newborn to relax again for more portraits.
My goal is to create beautiful artwork for you to hang on your walls and cherish for a lifetime.
Each session includes multiple poses of your new bundle of joy and parents. Siblings can be added for an additional fee. I do ask that if we are photographing siblings with the newborn, that we do family and sibling first. It's best to have someone take the sibling home (or for a drive or for lunch/ice cream) after we are done with those portraits. A newborn session can be very long and time consuming. In many cases siblings become bored or restless, this also causes parents to lose focus on the newborn as they are trying to entertain their other children. Having a sibling taken home allows me to keep a quiet, distraction free studio to create stunning newborn photos.

($25 DEPOSIT DUE AT BOOKING, REMAINING BALANCE DUE AT TIME OF SESSION. 2 1/2 HOUR SESSION.
Edited images in an online album for viewing and downloading for FREE with print release.
If you wish to have your portraits on a flash drive, you will have the option to purchase the flash drive for $10.
