Some important information you should know:
When should I book a session? I normally book approximately 2-3 months in advance. So, it's never too early to book.
When should you book a Newborn Session? When you find out you are expecting or when you are 3-4 months pregnant. It's never too early. I work around due dates.
When should I book a Senior Session? Fall dates go extremely quick. Most people book a year in advance. I'm normally booked 3 months in advance.
What if I can't afford a session? Good news, you can book well in advance and pay the day of your session or make payments till the day of your session. It works the same for weddings! (Please note a non-refundable deposit is required to book)
How much to add additional people (more than 5)? Each additional person is $10.
What if my child does not cooperate? After 25 years of being in the business, I have many tricks to help children open up, relax and smile. Sometimes the best portraits are of kids just being kids. However, I'm not responsible for children who do not cooperate. Normally I can tell in the first 15 minutes if it's impossible. (This has honly happened twice in 25 years). If I feel that is the case, I will inform you of that and suggest we try another day. I will not charge you for the session however I do not refund the retainer. If you decide to go forward past the 15 minutes you will be charged for your session.
Will my newborn sleep? That is the question! Sometimes you can try everything in the book, and they will not sleep. Sometimes they will sleep during the whole session. I always say "Newborns are the boss" they do what they want. However, all baby pictures are adorable. Even if they are awake.
What should I wear? As a photographer I love natural colors. Colors you find in nature. I do tell customers to avoid green, as in grass green. Natural colors, soft colors and Red, White & Blue are my favorite for most sessions. Ask me about fall colors for sessions. That is my favorite time of year.
Do you edit photos? Yes, I edit pictures. Unless told otherwise. I fix blemishes, scratches, stray hairs, etc. More drastic editing is used in Boudoir sessions.

Your portraits are an investment. Why? Because they capture a moment in time that you will never relive again. Our life moments are priceless.
You never know the value of a photograph, till it's the only thing you have left of a moment or special person. After 25 years of being in this business, I've found that most people don't "invest" in their beloved portraits, till they need to look back on a loved one that is no longer with us. (Sad but true.) Take the time to "invest" now.
Schedule the session, take the pictures, SMILE (even if you wish you could change something about yourself) and capture the moment. The moment of Life.
